“The Cricket”

I teamed up with Cream T pickups to make this 50′s S-type as authentic as possible.  His ’54 set is without a doubt the best-sounding Strat pickup I’ve ever heard.  The bridge has a very pronounced bite to it that gets downright nasty if you need it to and yet produces a sparkling shimmer if you back down on the volume or use less attack.  This is the first S bridge pickup I’ve heard in a long time that has made me want to keep an S-type guitar in the bridge position and nowhere else.  I can’t say enough about these pickups.
