UNCLE SAM
This KingBee was inspired by my father's old Colt Gold Cup 1911 pistol. It was made in 1976 as a bicentennial commemorative edition and it's loaded with true AMERICAN mojo. I decided to go to the local scrap-yard in search of what I would need to make it happen. I thought that I had struck gold when I found a 1976 Kansas license plate, but when I looked down at a 34 year old beer can just laying there in the mud with an American flag on it I knew I had hit the jackpot. Upon closer inspection, I realized that I was holding a Bicentennial Edition Falstaff beer can. The shell casings are .50 US Military issue. With the Lollar Low-Wind humbucker in the neck and a Lollar 52T in the bridge, this guitar is sure to provide all the twang you need PLUS a little something extra just in case.
